JOHN O'DONNELL, CEO   

​John O’Donnell founded Riverside Investment & Development Company (previously operating under O’Donnell Investment Company) in 2010 and was an early executive member of The John Buck Company, ultimately becoming the President and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. O’Donnell left The John Buck Company in 2010, after 28 years at the firm.  During his career, Mr. O’Donnell has managed development or redevelopment in excess of 34 million square feet with capital transactions in excess of $10 billion, which includes eight Chicago office buildings. John has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University, and a Master in Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.


RAFAEL CARREIRA, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Rafael Carreira is a real estate professional with over twenty years of experience developing complex urban projects, including office, mixed-use, residential, retail, and educational properties. Mr. Carreira joined Riverside after twenty years with The John Buck Company and brings a track record of success in managing dedicated project teams on multiple +$100 million projects with high returns to project investors. Mr. Carreira has developed more than 4 million square feet of ground-up real estate with an estimated value of approximately $2 billion. Mr. Carreira’s role with Riverside includes management of design and entitlement processes, oversight of leasing teams, and asset management from initial feasibility stages through stabilization. Rafael received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. 


ANTHONY SCACCO, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

With 15 years of development and project management experience, Anthony Scacco has delivered in excess of 10 million square feet of office, multifamily, hospitality and mixed use projects in multiple markets on two continents. Mr. Scacco’s role with Riverside involves managing all phases of the development process, including feasibility analyses, project planning and underwriting, entitlements, capital markets, design and construction management and asset management. Mr. Scacco’s current focus is leading the execution of Chicago’s premier Class A+ office tower, 150 North Riverside Plaza. Anthony has a Bachelors of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University's McCormick Graduate School of Engineering, as well as a Master in Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.


​JEFF CLARK, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT

Jeff Clark has been working as an owner's representative for owners, developers, and clients since 1985, with 19 years of experience as a Senior Vice President of Development for The John Buck Company, along with eight years of prior project management experience for leading Chicago area development and investment firms.  Mr. Clark has managed all aspects of the development process from conception to closeout, on large mixed-use projects including hotels, residential high-rises, and suburban office buildings as well as on smaller projects including bank renovations, townhouses, a private school, and has also overseen the lease-up and marketing of apartment projects.  Mr. Clark’s expertise is in leading design teams through construction documents and then managing the contractor team through construction. Prior to his development experience, Mr. Clark worked as a project architect at both Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Skidmore Owings and Merrill, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. 


​MICHAEL POTTER, VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE & DEVELOPMENT

Michael Potter has over 10 years of domestic and international commercial real estate investment, finance and development experience for large scale, institutional quality assets. Mr. Potter’s experience spans a wide breadth of product types with specific concentrations in office, multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use sectors. Mr. Potter’s investment experience includes progressive roles at Equity Office Properties Trust, Rockwood Realty Advisors (acquired by DTZ) and most recently with John Buck International in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. At Riverside, Mr. Potter focuses on development feasibility, acquisitions, joint ventures, project financing and asset management. Mr. Potter is a CFA Charterholder, and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University. 


​MARC PIETRZAK, VICE PRESIDENT, CONSTRUCTION

​Mr. Pietrzak joined Riverside in early 2014, and brings over 30 years of development and project management experience to the firm.  Marc’s primary focus is in the creation, management and coordination of Tenant Improvement programs to ensure adherence to Lease commitments, proper incorporation of Tenant requirements into the Base Building construction, and on-time / on-budget delivery of interior space.  Marc manages all aspects of the TI process including Work Letters, Base Building Turnover Conditions, Design Reviews, Cost Controls and Site Logistics.  Mr. Pietrzak’s current focus is managing the TI coordination process for 150 North Riverside. Marc  received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture / Land Planning from University of Illinois.


​ED WALSH, VICE PRESIDENT, CONSTRUCTION

In his nearly 34 years in the real estate industry while working for world-class firms in the contracting, development and property management industries, Mr. Walsh has achieved a significant depth and breadth of experience and technical expertise.  Mr. Walsh’s role with Riverside is focused on the management of entitlement and permit processes, interaction with and coordination of public stakeholders (including but not limited to required building utilities and City of Chicago agencies), oversight of design development / coordination / commissioning of building electromechanical systems, and spearheading property turnover and operational reviews.  Mr. Walsh is currently assisting with construction management processes for the firm’s 150 N Riverside and Chicago+Main projects. Mr. Walsh has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from North Eastern Illinois University.


​TYLER LAMKEY, SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Tyler Lamkey has a decade of experience in the construction industry in Project Management roles, including new construction and renovations for office, residential, hospitality, retail, healthcare and education projects. Having performed as General Contractor, Construction Manager, and Owner’s Agent, Tyler has extensive experience with design and construction coordination for successful completion of projects, pursuant to contract schedule, quality and cost requirements.  In his current role, Tyler is responsible for helping deliver the iconic 150 N Riverside office project, as well as Chicago+Main.  Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Purdue University, as well as a MBA in Real Estate Finance and Investment from DePaul University.
